Sparks, Maryland, January 16, 2015: Pat O’Connor, SUN Automation Group chairman, announces Ronald Diedeman as President.

As Vice President, Diedeman managed SUN Automation’s parts and service division. In his new role, Diedeman will oversee the continued success of the SUN625® Rotary Die Cutter and the CorrStream® digital printer, as well as other innovative products.

Diedeman started his career in the corrugated container industry with FX Hooper Co. in 1956. His experience includes engineering, manufacturing, customer service, and general management positions with Koppers, Ward Machinery, and Corrugated Gear. Following the acquisition of Langston Corporation assets in 2001, Ron directed the transition of the parts business from Cherry Hill, New Jersey to SUN Automation’s headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.
Ron was born and raised in the greater Baltimore, Maryland area and holds a B.S. Degree in mechanical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
